I went to the surgery on Thursday 21st December 2017 to ask about a medical form. My son had received the form on Monday 11th December when he got home. He handed the form in on Tuesday 12th December. My son phoned on the 20th to say he needed the form to hand in to the company on the Friday 22nd morning. Only to be told it takes 10 days for this matter to be sorted. I phoned also on the 20th to ask if they could help in anyway to sort the problem out. I sat on the phone to the department I need for 10 full minutes before someone answered to be told to phone back on the Thursday 21st as the lady who dealt with this was not there. That's when I went to the surgery. Only to be told again there was nothing anyone could do. I then came home and phone the surgery again. After the phone ringing for 13 minutes the lady said there was nothing they could do. So I ask to speak to the doctor or the manager. She said she would put me thought to his secretary. I said no I wanted to speak to someone higher. When all of a sudden she told me she would have it ready that day for 16.40. Very good. When my son went into lift the form the Doctor had printed out his medical history and signed the form. Does it take 10 days for a doctor to do this and you have to pay to get this done. I never met a surgery as unhelpful as Ballyclare. That's why I left it years ago. I hope my son does the same. Yours Joyce Hughes
